For Kyoto scarf we found the inspiration in our latest trip to Japan.

There, we get cough by the ambient Shoji creates in traditional Japaneses houses. Shoji (written with an hyphen above the “o”, sorry, I can’t find it in my keyboard) is the name for the sliding doors and walls made of rice paper and wood.

When the sunlight pass through them, it creates beautiful plays of light and shade in the room.

This beautiful checkered pattern has now turn out in the design of the latest addition to our collection.
